Changes in the charity selected for Kozakov Challenge 2009!

As you all know, a charity collection took place at Kozakov in 2009 for a children's orphanage in Chotebor. We received a large number of wheels, but very few treks and decks. We traded the extra wheels for other necessary parts as much as we could. We completed a total of 14 boards, which we handed to the kids this Saturday. Rider Registration for KC2010 will begin soon !

To all potential riders - this years registration and method of payment will be quite a bit easier and more convenient for the riders as well as the organizers of this years Kozakov Challenge This year during registration you will be asked for your credit card number to complete the registration and fee payment. We will be accepting both major credit cards - Visa and MasterCard/Eurocard. You will not be able to complete your rider registration until the payment has been sent so please make sure to pay in time. Rider inscription fees will be 150 Euros or the equivalent in either dollars (USD) or in Czech crowns (CZK). We will be opening initial registration on May 3,2010 for the top ten 10 riders in each individual category. We will then open general registration on May 10,2010 for all of those riders that would like to have a chance to race some of the world’s best downhill riders at this years IGSA Kozakov Challenge ! Chotebor Orphanage Donations

We would like to apologize to everybody that donated gear to help kids from a czech Orphanage at the 2009 Kozakov Challenge race. We received a large number of donated wheels but unfortunately only 1 set of trucks and no decks. We are trying as hard as possible to find sponsors who are willing to step up and donate some used, blemished, chipped decks, trucks, etc. so that we can put together all the boards for the kids and deliver them to the Chotebor orphanage in the spring. Therefore if you have any gear lying around that you don't need step up and help us make a kids future a little bit brighter with a skateboard/longboard. For those of the riders that are camping in tents and would like to use the showers at the top of the hill the cost per shower will be symbolically1 EURO/25 CZK.
